Interview

What I learned from video production this semester is that, you have to plan everything out for the video that you are making with a storyboard because when you are actually filming, by having the storyboard with the steps in order of how you want the shots in, it goes by a lot faster. Video has also taught me that you have to work with a lot of different people, but by having to be in a group of 2 or more people, you have to pick from more than one idea for the assignment that you have been given. Having more than a few ideas in a group is good, but it can also be hard because your group has to agree with whose idea is the best, without getting in an argument. What I liked best about this program so far is that, there is a lot of different kinds of videos and movies that you can make.

Web Project

I don't think this assignment was hard because the steps were already written out for us to complete, so if you follows the steps really carefully then it wasn't hard at all. This project was kind of fun, graphic design isn't my favorite strand of e-comm.

The Chase

I learned that you have to prioritize your time and be on task with your group.

What I will apply to the next project is that I will make sure that I follow the 180 degree rule and not go on the opposite side of my actor.

Collaboration means in this project that you have to make sure that everyone in your group is on the same page with your idea and if they are not than we work together to find out a new idea that everyone agrees on.

I learned that you have to priorities your time so you know that you will be able to have enough time to finish your project.

What I will apply to my next project is, I will spend my time wisely and do the questions sooner.

Collaboration is a word used when you have to work with a group or with a partner to get your project finished and complete on the deadline that is it due. In this situation this applies to me and my group because without my partner I wouldn’t finish.

A B Sequence

The 6 shots to the 6 shot sequence are; XW- Extra wide, this sets the scene and shows what is going on around them. XCU- Extra close up shows what the character is doing with their hands. MS- Medium shot, this shot is from the hips up. CU- Close up, shows the close up of the characters face and their expression. WS- Wide shot, this shot is the character from head to toe. OTS- Over the shoulder shows what the character is doing in front of them from an over the shoulder view.

            I learned that you only have 4 seconds to try and get your viewer involved into your video, before the decide if they want to keep watching or if they want to stop watching your video.

            What I will apply to my next project is that I will make sure I get the right shots and will make sure they look good and have the right frame. By doing that I will have more time to make sure I can get my editing done.

            

Highlight video

The tools that I used to make my highlight video in Final Cut Pro are “B” to cut the part in my video when they`re are many small clips toward the end. Another tool that I used was command “I” and command “O”; Command “I” to start the beginning of a clip that I wanted to use and command “O” to end the clip that I used “I” with.  I chose one video of traveling around the world in under 5 minutes and a time taps video because I love traveling and want to be able to see as much as the world as possible. Traveling is important to me because when I go to different places I get to see other peoples situations and see what peoples reactions are to different types of situations. I also like time laps things because you can see how a 24 hour thing can come together in less than 2 minutes.

Animated House

What I liked about my animated dream house is that I know that on one else will have the same house as I do. Nobodies house will probably look like my house that I made. I was proud of my house because I have a pool with a water slide but I forgot to add a pool that attached to the slide at the top of the house.

When I started to make my house I wanted it to be a type of beach house, so I put the house on columns so that it would make it look like the columns is what is holding the house up like it would be on the beach.

My house relates to animation because you can see around my house. Were in animation which is apart of e-comm so I tried to make it seem like someone that knew how to make a house, did it.
